New Year’s Eve (2011) dir. Garry Marshall 118 mins
The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year’s Eve.
Verdict: Some great actors in this ensemble cast but unfortunately the film was really really dull. I enjoyed seeing New York all lit up and looking pretty but the stories were nowhere near as interesting as those found in films like Love, Actually. There were so many cringe worthy moments and it was completely cliched.
The only person to get me through this movie was Sofia Vergara of Modern Family fame. It was lovely to see Abigail Breslin all grown up too.
